I specialize in studying the microbial communities that facilitate the recycling and removal of agrochemicals (nutrients and pesticides) in both natural and agricultural ecosystems. My work extends to collaborating with growers to implement and expand the use of bioreactors, optimizing their capacity to efficiently treat agricultural run-offs and reclaim water resources in a cost-effective manner.
