BIOGRAPHY

Research interests include aquatic ecology; community ecology; phytoplankton ecology, physiology and evolution; global change and harmful algal blooms. I am interested in how the interplay of biotic and abiotic factors structures phytoplankton communities in both freshwater and marine environments.
