I am a current Ph.D. student in the Fisheries and Wildlife program, as well as taking ESPP as my dual major. This is because my research interest is to reveal the impacts on food systems under different perturbations (policies, disasters, crises, etc.) qualitatively and quantitatively using methods, and data from different cross-disciplinary background knowledge, such as ecology, sociology, geography, environmental science and statistics. Secondly, I also aim to illustrate whether the compounding of these factors produces a different magnitude of impact than when individual factors act on the system.
My current research focuses on the impacts of local policies, regional wars, and global diseases on food systems.
