BIOGRAPHY

I routinely teach Biological Processes in Environmental Engineering (ENE804) and Environmental Engineering Process Lab (ENE806) and serve as Environmental Engineering Faculty Consultant for CE495 - Capstone Design Project. In the past, I have taught Microbiology for Environmental Sci & Eng (CE487), Engineering Economics module of CE272, and Introduction to Environmental Engineering (CE280).

AREA OF EXPERTISE

  • New approaches and tools to understand how complex microbial communities work
  • Development and validation of low-cost field-deployable microfluidic devices for nuclean acids based testing of microbes and functional genes
  • Enabling technologies for organohalide bioremediation
